The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE Edition International from AVM is the first router that can be used with both ADSL/VDSL connections as well as 4G and 3G networks. For the Internet connection, it offers the option of an integrated 4G/3G modem or a VDSL modem for Internet speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s. The latest Wireless AC+N technology offers even greater range and significantly higher speeds of up to 2,533 Mbit/s. With the convenience we have come to know, the FRITZ!Box 6890LTE connects all computers, smartphones, tablets, televisions, printers and other network devices to the network. Gigabit LAN and USB 3.0 functions, a PBX with DECT base station and connections for analog and ISDN telephones complete this versatile communications device.

High speed on all connections The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE transmits on three LTE and two UMTS frequencies and supports roaming for surfing in all mobile networks. Speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s can be achieved via both LTE and the latest-generation ultrabroadband connections. DSL speeds are significantly increased, and downloads of large data packets occur at record speeds. The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE can be used both with IP connections, via the dedicated WAN port, and with traditional ADSL/VDSL connections (also optionally with analog telephony or ISDN).

High-end AC+N wireless network with up to 2533 Mbit/s. The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE, with its innovative wireless technology, is ideal for networks with many wireless devices. Multiple antenna technology (4 x 4 Multi-User MIMO) allows for optimal connection of multiple wireless devices simultaneously. At the same time, the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE, thanks to dual-band WiFi, transmits in the 2.4 GHz (Wireless N) and 5 GHz (Wireless AC) frequency bands in parallel, providing virtually two wireless networks and achieving data rates of up to 2533 Mbit/s in total. This allows bandwidth-intensive applications to be used simultaneously on multiple wireless devices without compromising speed and stability. Multi-user MIMO technology further increases network throughput, and wireless devices that support MU-MIMO benefit from maximum speed thanks to simultaneous data transmission.

Telephony options for every need. Analog and ISDN telephones and up to six cordless DECT telephones (such as FRITZ!Fon) can be registered on the integrated PBX. Wireless LAN also turns smartphones into fully-fledged VoIP/landline phones. Integrated answering machines, local and online directories, and countless convenience features round out the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE's wide range of telephony options. Smart Home devices, such as the FRITZ!DECT 200 smart plug, can also be controlled via the DECT base station.

Versatile Multimedia Functions The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE integrates all connected and online USB storage devices, as well as their content, into the network. Thanks to the integrated media server with NAS connectivity, all stored films, music, and images are available and can be shared via multimedia network devices such as tablets or smartphones. Data transfer is lightning-fast with USB 3.0, making the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE a powerful platform for networked multimedia applications such as IPTV, video on demand, or streaming. And despite all this, the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE continues to consume very little power thanks to Eco Mode.
