The Imou Rex 3D - 3K is the ideal indoor security camera with PTZ (355-degree rotation, 90-degree tilt, and 8x digital zoom) functionality. Thanks to its 5-megapixel resolution, the Rex 3D - 3K offers excellent image quality. To install the Rex 3D indoor camera, simply download the Imou Life app and follow the instructions. This security camera features full-duplex two-way audio (listen and answer) and an attractive "black pearl" design. Furthermore, the Rex 3D is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence thanks to Imou Sense. This function detects not only people, but also pets, vehicles, packages, and unusual noises. When surveillance is not needed, the Rex 3D can be set to privacy mode, where the lens rotates within the housing. Thanks to the built-in spotlight and siren, unwanted visitors are kept at a safe distance.
Image quality
The 5-megapixel 3K resolution delivers crystal-clear, high-quality images. At the same time, the H.265 image compression technology ensures that high-quality recordings and streams take up relatively little space and therefore require less bandwidth. This allows for optimal use of available storage space and bandwidth. In the evening, Rex activates 3D infrared night vision: everything is clearly visible in black and white.
Rotation and tilt
The Imou Rex 3D lens is motorized for pan and tilt. This leaves no corner of the room uncovered. The Imou Life app allows you to control the camera remotely. Additionally, when something is detected, the camera automatically follows its movements, panning (355 degrees horizontally) and tilting (90 degrees vertically).
Imou Sense
Rex 3D features highly precise and intelligent detection thanks to Imou Sense. IMOU SENSE™ is an AI algorithm developed in-house under the Imou brand. This algorithm allows for the precise detection of people, vehicles, pets, and packages, among other things. Thanks to its powerful computing power, IMOU SENSE™'s detection response time is just 0.02 seconds, and it sends an immediate notification.
Baby monitors and pets
In addition to protecting your home, the camera is perfect as a baby monitor or for keeping an eye on your pets. With Rex 3D, you'll always have an eye on the situation and be alerted immediately if anything happens. You can receive a notification as soon as motion or a strange sound is detected. You can respond immediately to an event by listening in and responding via the built-in speaker and microphone. The image is clear even in the dark, thanks to infrared night vision. In short, an excellent baby monitor or pet camera.
Installation
Download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android, or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in, select the "+" sign in the top right of the Imou app to add a camera. Scan the QR code on the camera and follow the app's instructions. The camera has a built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi chip. It also has an Ethernet port for wired connectivity. Select your Wi-Fi network and make sure the camera is close to your router during setup. The camera will be ready for use in no time. For image recording, you can choose the Imou Cloud service, as well as local storage via a MicroSD card or an Imou NVR.
Smart features in Imou Life app
- Privacy mode: With the press of a button, the lens disappears and nothing is recorded.
- Notification Schedule: Set the days and times of the week when the camera sends notifications.
- Detection region: Select the area where the camera is active for notifications.
- Image mirror: Activate the ceiling installation for correct image display.
- Smart Scenes: Set up scenes, such as “away” mode, where the camera is fully active when you are away from home.
