This hub offers 7 USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play functionality and standard USB charging. The hub automatically detects whether a USB charging device is connected, allowing it to charge up to 7 devices simultaneously. The USB 3.0 interface is especially important for transferring data from USB 3.0 flash drives or memory cards, as it offers high speeds. The included external power adapter, which is essential for the hub, is also very useful. This adapter provides continuous power through the USB ports and provides up to 10W of power per port.
You can deactivate and activate individual HUB ports via the relevant switch to reduce the HUB's power consumption and simultaneously increase the charging capacity of the ports left active.
The hub requires no installation; simply connect it to your computer with a USB cable and it's ready to use. The hub features overcurrent protection to protect your computer from short-circuiting peripheral devices. It's also fully backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1.
The hub is installed automatically by the system and does not require any software installation. Insert one power adapter connector into the hub and the other into a 230V power outlet. Then connect the hub to a free USB port on your notebook/PC (standard 3.0, 2.0, or 1.1) using a USB cable and follow the on-screen instructions. The hub will be installed and displayed in Device Manager as "Generic USB Hub" and "Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub."
