Description:

ELOFIT is a system of electro-weldable high-density polyethylene fittings and special pieces for the transport of pressurized water and in general for the transport of pressurized fluids.

Elofit high density polyethylene fittings mainly use the electrofusion technology and joining method.

This welding process involves placing electrical resistors inside the electrofusion fittings, connected to the outside by two cable lugs.

By connecting a welding machine capable of supplying energy to the fitting to the two ends of the resistor, a certain voltage is created in a set time.

The resistor transforms the received current into heat so that the polyethylene of the pipe and that of the fitting merge into a monolithic system.

Once cooled, a homogeneous, robust, safe and reliable connection is obtained over time.
