EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO®, the new range of EFFEBI press-fit copper fittings, was created with the desire to pursue and strengthen our mission.

EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO® is a fitting system suitable for use in the creation of domestic methane - LPG systems and domestic hot water - heating systems. UNICO® the universal fitting with double marking Yellow (GAS) and Blue (WATER) The UNICO® series, which can be used for both gas and water systems, consists of copper-copper and bronze-copper press fittings. A complete range of intermediate fittings that includes 20 types of figures between Copper-Copper press fittings from diameter 12 to 54 mm and Copper-Bronze threaded press fittings from ø12 mm - 3/8” to ø54 mm - 2”. The UNICO® series fittings comply with the requirements indicated by UNI EN 11065 for class 1 (water application) and 2 (gas application) and are characterised by the double marking of Yellow and Blue. The threaded connections to other systems are made using threaded bronze parts with a press-fit mouth. The male threads comply with the UNI EN 10226 standard.

The special gasket is characterised by chemical-physical performances capable of satisfying the hygiene and non-toxicity requirements necessary for applications in contact with drinking water. The material from which it is made complies with both EN 681-1 (water applications) and EN 549 (gas applications).
