Characteristics:
The EWPX 171(/E) is a microprocessor-based digital instrument designed for controlling refrigeration units; in particular, it is suitable for applications on "static" units at normal or low temperatures. The instrument is equipped with two relay outputs for controlling the compressor and the defrost system; it includes two input probes for temperature regulation and defrost management.
For refrigeration applications, temperature regulation occurs with the differential set to positive values; the compressor will stop when the setpoint value is reached and restart at a temperature equal to the setpoint plus the differential value. The instrument allows the selection of two different types of defrost: electric (the compressor is stopped) or reverse cycle (hot gas; the compressor is kept running);
