DESCRIPTION:

Oil separators must be installed vertically. If the condenser is installed higher than the oil separator, it is advisable to install a check valve to prevent liquid refrigerant from returning to the separator. It is essential to charge the oil specified in the table by introducing it through the outlet connection. The separator body must be kept cool while welding the inlet and outlet connections. The separator inlet diameter must not be smaller than the compressor discharge diameter. To avoid excessive turbulence and noise, we recommend avoiding excessive refrigerant gas velocities through the separator; the recommended velocity is 0.4 - 0.6 m/s. To check the separator's correct operation, we recommend installing an SPL liquid flow indicator on the compressor oil return line.

Building materials:

The filter body is made entirely of steel. The flare connections are made of copper-plated steel, while the solder connections are made entirely of copper. The internal filter is made of pure borosilicate.
