WARNING:

In compliance with the new European regulation n° 517/2014 on F-Gas, from 1 January 2015 the purchase/sale of Fluorinated* greenhouse gases (HFC refrigerant gases) will be subject to possession of the requirements prescribed in the regulation (personal license/company certification).
Specifically, all end-users purchasing F-gas for installation, assistance, and maintenance purposes (e.g., refrigeration engineers, heating technicians, auto repair shops, etc.) will only be able to do so if they have a "license," which they must show at the time of purchase (Article 11, point 4).
The seller is required to record, in a special register, the name, license number and quantity of gas purchased by the customer.
Those who do not perform installation, assistance, or maintenance activities (e.g., retailers, transporters, etc.) will not be required to purchase gas based on a license. However, upon purchase, they will be required to complete a form declaring, under their own responsibility, how they will use the purchased gas.
