DESCRIPTION:

Glossy white cast polyester resin toilet seat for the Gemma 2 wall-hung toilet by Dolomite

The cast product is created as follows: a 12 mm thick pressed chipboard insert is coated with approximately 3 mm of liquid polyester resin. Once cured, the product acquires a stable consistency that ensures good resistance to chemicals, as well as high hardness and the ability to absorb impacts and excessive weight. The seat is then left in a closed chamber at a constant temperature under UV light for 48 hours to release all the chemicals present in the resin that cause yellowing during curing. This process ensures color consistency that is guaranteed for more than two years after installation. The product then undergoes further fundamental sanding, polishing, and cleaning processes. The seat is then carefully inspected by a quality control team positioned at three different points along the way. To finalize the product, we then proceed with the application of polyethylene bumpers, hinges and special fixings, all inside a transparent heat-shrink film and packaged inside the box.
