Description:

Our toilet seats are made using an antibacterial compound, essentially consisting of a urea-formaldehyde condensate, an organic cellulose-based filler, and a percentage of silver ions. This compound drastically reduces or even inhibits the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, while maintaining their essential characteristics: robustness, non-flammability, tastelessness, and odorlessness, and resistance to acids, oils, and grease, as well as the most common organic solvents.

Thanks to the use of an antimicrobial additive, all our products are certified to prevent attacks by the most common microorganisms such as: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Candida albicans; therefore, they are particularly suitable for use in hospitals, communities, hotels, restaurants, airports, etc.

The antimicrobial action is based on the natural properties of silver ions, which inhibit the growth of a wide range of microorganisms.

Furthermore, the excellent physical and chemical properties typical of urea are maintained unchanged, such as electrical insulation, fire resistance, color stability, hypoallergenicity.
