SELF-EXPANDING POLYURETHANE FOAM

It offers good acoustic and thermal insulation and has a good adhesion to most building materials such as wood, concrete, aerated concrete, brick, metal, and aluminum. It does not adhere to polyethylene, silicone, or PTFE.

Advantages of gun-based polyurethane foam compared to foam with an adapter:

• Lower consumption thanks to precise dosing;

• Easier to handle and apply;

• Zero spills or drips from the gun nozzle;

• Less cleaning required;

• Quick cylinder change.

DESCRIPTION:

• Volume: 42-47 l (freely foamed) (750 ml)

• Foam density: 16-18 kg/m³

• Application temperature: min. +5 °C (surface), 20-25 °C (can)

• Crosslinking time: 5-10 min.

• Cutting time: 20-25 min.

• Drying time: 1.5-5 hours, depending on temperature and humidity

• Temperature resistance: -40°C to +90°C

• Dimensional stability: max. ± 5 %

• Water absorption: max. 1 vol. %

• Compressive strength: 0.04-0.05 MPa

• Tensile strength: 0.12-0.14 MPa

APPLICATIONS:

It is used in construction for sealing, filling, insulating, assembling, and installing (door and window frames). It allows for quick filling and sealing against cold, drafts, and noise. It is also suitable for thermal insulation of plumbing and heating systems, and for securing electrical and ventilation systems, etc.
