This combination of a passive USB 3.0 hub and a Gigabit Ethernet adapter lets you quickly and easily connect your favorite USB devices to your notebook, tablet, or PC using a single USB cable, as well as access high-speed Internet access via Gigabit Ethernet. Its compact size and light weight make it a popular accessory, especially when traveling.
This combo offers three USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play functionality and standard USB charging, which automatically recognizes the HUB when a device is connected. The USB 3.0 interface is particularly important for data transmission from memory cards and USB 3.0 flash drives, which can take full advantage of the high data transmission speeds. The HUB is bus-powered and features overcurrent protection, useful against short circuits on the peripherals. The device is reversibly backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
