With the FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 Edition International, AVM offers a new adapter
particularly efficient wireless connection with a FRITZ!Box or with
a wireless router of your choice. The Wireless AC standard used and the powerful
USB 3.0 interface allows for ultra-fast connections that reach
at 866 Mbit/s (5 GHz). Even greater range and wireless connections
particularly stable make the small FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 a real highlight
and own wireless power in your home network.
Wireless Internet at maximum speed
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 is the perfect complement to all FRITZ!Box models.
equipped with Wireless AC, such as the FRITZ!Box 7490, 6490 and 3490. Furthermore, it is able to use
also all the previous wireless standards, so it allows you to make a connection
wireless with all commonly used routers. With a transmission speed that
reaches 866 Mbit/s with the AC standard, this wireless dongle reaches speeds
transfer rates much higher than those of the previous wireless adapters. The range
increases significantly thanks to the most modern wireless technology. The alternative use
of the Wireless N network with 300 Mbit/s (2.4 GHz) also allows you to obtain,
maximum operating flexibility.
Automatic security with Stick & Surf and WPS
AVM's unique Stick & Surf method automatically assigns your computer a
secure connection to the FRITZ!Box. Once briefly inserted into the USB port of the
FRITZ!Box, the dongle applies all the settings. Connecting it to the computer now creates
a secure wireless connection. Alternatively, for routers from other brands the
connection can also be created via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup).
Easy installation in seconds
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 is characterized by its compact design, a performance of
configurable transmission and very simple setup. For the computer not
